Where do you find your pieces to makeover?
In short, anywhere and everywhere. Sometimes I shop yard sales and thrift stores. Sometimes pieces are given to me. I've even re-made things I found lying on the side of the road! Unless otherwise specified, my pieces will always be all wood, and will be functional i.e. drawers work, doors open and shut, chairs rock or glide, etc.
Where can I buy your furniture?
I sell exclusively on Facebook Marketplace right now, primarily within Charlottesville, VA and surrounding areas. I accept Venmo and cash, at the time of pick up/delivery unless otherwise discussed. I am not able to ship items at this time.
How do you price your items?
I started this business with the desire to make high quality items available to people like me, who have other priorities than spending thousands on furniture. With that said, I price my items based on initial cost of acquisition, material cost, and overall quality. My average price is between $200 - $500.
I have something I'd like made over. Do you do that?
Absolutely! I love working with clients to makeover their existing furniture. My pricing for this type of work varies based on condition, materials needed, and in some cases travel cost. It will still be far less than what you would pay to purchase something new. Please do keep in mind that I am a boutique operation and may not be able to complete projects for several weeks.
